Our Baby Layette consists of a blanket, cap with pom pon, and booties. We offer the cap and booties in two sizes: newborn and 6-12 months. Make your size selection under OPTIONS at the bottom of the page.

This Layette Set is featuring the Flint Design and is pictured in white with Purple Edges and Lavender Flint Design. The center of the blanket is 'white on white' which means it is the same design 'Flint' in an embossed effect. Darlene likes to offer this 'edge style' blanket with the all white center so it keeps our special baby as the main accent in the middle, surrounded by the colorful 'edges'. Then the Cap and Booties top off the accents by being in the edge colors which are purple and lavender in our sample.

This acrylic yarn was chosen because of its soft qualities especially after washing, it is even softer. Babies love to be cuddled in the warmth of this knit. Baby Sarah is very happy wrapped in this special baby layette. The tuck stitch used to create this knit blanket is lofty and airy. This creates the warmth needed, but not the heavy weight! The cap and booties are knit in a jacquard stitch so the flint design is well defined.
